Teya Case Study

User journeys / Microcopy / Content Systems

The Challenge

Teya (previously MeaPay) was a challenger start up in the fintech space for its POS and payments platform - an alternative to the legacy brands that weren’t as nimble. It needed to enter the market in a strong position to cater to its SMB hospitality and retail audience, who need simplicity and reliability for all transactions.

During this Alpha stage, the business had no content design system or consistency and the platform included someconfusing UX from journey to journey.

The Solution

Use the live files to:

  • Help educate the Product Designers on UX copy and content design best practices.

  • Discuss changes with stakeholders including the reasons behind them.

  • Provide a reference point for future work.

The Result

Onboarding and Transactional Flows

The onboarding and transactional journeys needed to be approachable, clear and simple to create trust instantly for business owners and customers.

All imagery and content needed to work together for scannability, with IA and CTAs remaining predictable and consistent for confident repetition.

I leveraged familiar formats for quicker comprehension, ie. app-based permission screens and invoice and receipt templates.
